Deadlines for the annual Communicator of Achievement award were announced during the NFPW conference in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. March 23 will be the deadline that nominations will be due from all state affiliates. Deadlines are much earlier because the annual conference is now in June instead of September.
“We have great communicators across the state and active members at the state and local levels,” said Wilma Moore-Black, COA director for KPC. “You can start thinking about candidates to nominate and begin getting a cover letter and a resume for your entry together.”
Wednesday, March 4, will be the deadline for all entries for the state COA award. Nominations should be emailed to Wilma.black@wichita.edu or contact her at 316.213.6265. NFPW’s COA director Karen Stensrud said the instructions and deadlines will be posted on the national website in September.
