Happy Holidays! This year has been extremely successful for Wichita Professional Communicators. We’ve continued to grow our membership and have had some great programming — including a complete sellout for our Wichita By E.B. program earlier this year! Thank you all for your continued support of WPC. Your attendance at luncheons and the annual mixer, along with your memberships, help support communication scholarships for our future communication professionals. 
I’ve really enjoyed serving as president of WPC this year. Your board worked tirelessly this year to keep this group going, and I know next year’s board, led by Naomi Shapiro, will exceed expectations and work tirelessly to make this group even better.
I want to thank the board this year. Each and every one of you worked so hard and gave so much of your personal time to WPC this year. I know how time consuming it can be to plan programs, get social media posts scheduled, manage memberships, update the website, create the newsletter, organize the mixer and all of the other tasks you’re assigned — thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. We couldn’t do any of this without your volunteerism.
There are several changes coming to WPC next year (all positive, I promise). Stay tuned for those announcements. Please make sure you renew your membership for 2023, and start thinking about the projects you want to submit for competition.
And finally, I hope you have a happy holiday season! Take some time to decompress and spend time with your loved ones. Sleep in, eat the extra slice of pie, watch holiday movies, go look at lights and hug your loved ones a little tighter this year. I can’t wait to see you all (on the other side) in 2023!
